Flowermelody woke with a start,purple eyes wide with fear at the sounds she had heard. The screams of her fighting clanmates,slashing claws and the sheer terror of battle. Leaping to her paws, the tiny black warrior ran from her den and a run for the exit of ShadowClan's camp.

  Muscles bunching,white paws eating up ground with speed,Flowermelody sniffed the air to find her clanmates. She could see it now,Jaystorm,her dear kin,ripped to shread. Mossfeather,her best friend,ripped to pieces. She could not let this happen. She could not be the reason why. The dank smell of blood wafted into her nose,and it was then that it was clear where the warriors were

With a malicious screech,Flowermelody hurtled into the clearing,only to find the dead bodies of rogues scattered like fresh kill across the vegitation.

That is,except for one shadowy figure with a blazing,lava-colored pelt.

She furrowed her brow,trying to decifer the scene before her. The pelt...those eyes. Flowermelody figured out that this was no rogue. It was a familiar face,so achingly familiar that it bit at her heart...

Standing before her was Lavaflow,completely alive,in a new body. Fresh,swift and well fed was the tyrant who had killed kits of her own clan and driven her makeshift group,Dark Gang,against them.She was back,and  looked menacing. 

"Ah,Flowermelody. Nice to see you again. I have many a word to convey to you,and that clan of yours."

Frostsong spotted Flowermelody pad out the thorn entrance,making it seem like something was wrong. Frostsong padded after her quietly,she did not want to startle her.

She peeked around a tree and saw a strange orange cat,she smelled of Shadowclan, but Frostsongcould not make out the scent .Frostsong gasped outloud,making the two cats turn around.

Frostsong whispered while looking at the orange cat

"Flower? who is this?"

    Jaystorm nodded slowly to Shadowflame. "That's good. I enjoy battles myself. So long as nobody's seriously injured."

    Her ears flicked involuntarily. She could tell something wrong was afoot, but what, exactly, she didn't know. Jaystorm looked around the camp, but could find nothing out of the ordinary or disturbing. It bothered her, but she tried to shove it out of her mind.

(I am,sorry Frost.)

"SHE'S BACK! LAVA...FLOW...BACK!" Flowermelody yowled with a gasp as she awoke from her malicious night mare of her dead sister. 

Why isn't she gone? StarClan doesn't accept tryrants...do they? the black warrior thought anxiously,Will she return?If she does,how will she do it?

Knowing Lavaflow,Flowermelody could estimate how crafty can be at a time. This was no differnt,and even from within the dark death she was imprisoned in, the ginger she-cat would escape it. She always escaped trouble stealthily. She was ShadowClan,after all. And Flowermelody's own blood had once pulsed through her veins...

She finished her prey and got up, ruffling her fur. She arced (love tht word) her back in a stretch and headed towards the warriors den, mewing a ttyl to the deputy. She heard Flomel muttering in her sleep. Curling up next to teh senior warrior, she tried falling into dreams herself, hoping to see her StarClan family again.

    Jaystorm's mind began thinking over many things in rapid succession.

    First, it trailed back to before the rogue fight, when Flowermelody had needed to talk to her, but she had been pulled away.

    Second, it thought even farther back to Lavaflow and Dark Gang's raid on the ShadowClan nursery, and recently to Lavaflow's strange appearance.

    Third, it absently thought of Wolfstar, who fell off Darkstone a long time ago, and just recently.

    Finally, it thought of SkyClan. The battle.

    Was there a connection? Some things couldn't be linked at all, she knew, but yet, they did seem close together...

    What am I thinking? It's like I'm expecting badgers to fly into the woods and hunt foxes for lunch and eat trees for supper.

Frostsong crept bact in the to the location of the battle with the rouges. Her silky white pelt glinted the sun. She sniffed the air and smelled a horrible stench....Twolegs.....She suddenly felt a sharp pian in her back leg. Frostsong looked up and saw a twoleg arm reaching out. o starclan no. she glanced at her back leg and saw a pointed object sticking out. (Sleeping shot) Frostsong started to feel dizzy, and her legs gave out on her. She knew she was going to be taken away. "Help!! Jaystorm! Flowermelody!" She was picked up, then darkness fell and she fainted.

She yowled in shock "Frostsong".

She darted out nipping at its legs hissing.
